So the last couple of weeks have been a complete whirl-wind of interviews, TV appearances and chats with the press to celebrate the launch of my new book Paul Hollywood’s British Baking. It’s been really hectic, but such good fun. I fed Bakewell Tarts to those lovely Loose Women and breakfasted on Eccles Cakes with Grimmy at Radio 1. If you haven’t seen the book yet then keep an eye out on the recipe section of my website as some of my bakes will be appearing over the next few months. And don’t forget to stick it on your Christmas list! I have also loved seeing all the amazing pictures of your bakes from my new book. I am trying to get as many as possible up on my Facebook page, so don’t forget to have a look and see if yours is there.
Despite Bake Off being over for another year Mary and I can’t seem to stop hanging out. Last week we were up in Scotland demoing at the BBC Good Food Show and this week we will be running into each other covered in icing sugar at the Bakes & Cakes Show in London. We so enjoy working together and really look forward to catching up at these events. If you are coming to the Bake & Cake Show I hope to see you in the theatre for some cooking and if you have a copy of the new book then do bring it along to one of the signing sessions.
It’s not long now till the Autumn leg of my tour starts. We kick off the tour in Poole on the 6th November, where I will be demonstrating recipes inspired by regional baking. There will also be a chance for the audience to put their baking queries to me and the show will culminate with four lucky, randomly chosen audience members coming on stage to bake with me. If you haven’t got your tickets yet then have a look and see if I am coming to a venue near you.
Happy Baking x
