I can’t believe it’s nearly time, but tomorrow my Autumn tour Paul Hollywood’s British Baking Live! starts. The tour supports my new book Paul Hollywood British Baking and will feature recipes inspired by regional cooking. I was amazed at how much fun and knowledgeable our audiences were on my first tour and I can’t wait to meet people in the places we didn’t managed to get to last time around. I am particularly excited about visiting Ireland and of course heading to my home town of Liverpool! I will be demonstrating up to four of my favourite recipes and be getting some lucky audience members up on stage with me to have a go at some Hollywood bakes.
Did any of you catch The Jonathan Ross Show last weekend? It was so much fun to chat with Jonathan but the biggest thrill was meeting the fabulous Keira Knightley and finding out she is a massive Bake Off fan! Jonathan gave her a copy of my new book and she seemed genuinely excited about having a go at some of my recipes. I have been so pleased to see how many of you guys are also loving the new book and have really enjoyed seeing all the pictures of bakes from British Baking that you sent me. Check out my Facebook page to see if your bake is featured. Maybe Keira will send me a pic of one of her bakes!
Halfway through the tour I will be dashing back to London for Children In Need. It’s an amazing cause that I always support and this year I have been honoured to have been asked to take part in their fundraising campaign. As you can see from the picture above I have been reinvented as The Baker, a masked adventurer who wants everyone to create bake for the nation!
Now it’s finally November we can all start to get excited about Christmas. Keep an eye on my website for lots of fabulous festive recipes and don’t forget to sign up for my newsletter which will be coming out in December featuring some brand new Christmas recipes.
